Our Fees

There are two ways solicitors charge: fixed fees and billing for the actual time spent on a matter. Our fixed-fee pricing ensures that you don’t have to worry about hidden fees, and the quote we provide at the outset of your matter is inclusive of all legal costs. We offer fixed-fee pricing in some areas of law, including:

• Family Law, including Divorce
• Guilty pleas in Criminal Law matters, including Drink Driving (PCA) and Apprehended Violence Orders (AVO)
• Property Law including Conveyancing, Sale and Purchase of business and Retail/Commercial Leases

In litigation matters, including civil claims and family law disputes, we charge based on the actual time spent on your file. Our rates vary depending on the solicitor's level of experience. We also offer an initial consultation, free of charge, to assess your claim and provide clear advice on the most appropriate pathway. You may be surprised to hear that if we believe your legal fees will outweigh the benefit of pursuing a claim, we will tell you before you engage our services.

When billing for time, like most solicitors, we charge in six (6) minute increments. However, we keep costs fair by grouping small tasks together to ensure fees remain reasonable. We also offer a pay-as-you-go option with interim bills to help you manage your legal costs. Where your money is tied up in an asset, we will work with you to defer payment where appropriate.
