Wills

After working hard your whole life, you want to make sure that your loved ones
are provided for after you pass away.

People are shocked to learn that dying without a Will does not mean that your spouse and/or children will automatically receive your estate, or that not all your assets automatically form part of your estate. There are specific rules that apply when a person passes away intestate (without a Will) and certain assets, such as your superannuation, do not form part of your estate without you taking specific actions. Having a Will provides certainty for your loved ones and makes the administration of the estate less complicated.

A Will is a legal document appoints an Executor to manage your affairs and that directs how your assets will be divided after you pass away. As your personal circumstances change, so too should your Will. You can change your Will anytime while you have capacity.

We have been told that our fixed fees for the preparation of Wills are the most affordable in the Illawarra and beyond. Check out our fixed fee pricing and see for yourself!

At the same time as considering your Will we strongly recommend that you also put in place plans for any future incapacity through Power of Attorney and Guardianship documents. This will ensure that if you somehow become unable to make decisions about your finances, your medical treatment or living arrangements then the person or persons who you trust to make these decisions can do so unhindered.
